HOW I GREW MY PAGE FROM 14K TO 21K

There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to growing your Instagram account organically, but there are many tips that help you beat the Instagram Algorithm and help you grow.
  • Start with your content. Figure out your niche and be unique.
  • Post consistently and show your personality.
  • Be social and network with other Instagrammers.
  • Use Hashtags from your niche and never focus whole heartily on the numbers.
  • Remember it’s about quality not quantity.
  • And lastly, connect with those who already follow you

My story into Instagram business and Instagram engagement groups started less than a year ago , before then, I was just like any newbie..I just couldn’t understand anything about posting or hashtags or organizing posts. For me, I would just post whatever I had, no pattern, no bearing, no arrangement, no niche, I just just posting with so much naivety. 

My SECRET TIP
I sank my face into research, I read and read, I was hungry to find out why I couldn’t have as many followers as some of our popular celebrities, I snuck into their pages, I checked their method of posts, the way they interacted with their followers and it paid off eventually!

🌸 OPTIMISE YOUR BIO
Your bio must speak of what you do, you cannot be a fashion vendor and your bio has an inspirational quote, they can’t just sync and you just end up leaving ur customers and client confused about what to do. Ensure your worth and your work is captured in your bio, that is also your abridged profile. 

🌸 LEAVE A LINK TO REACH YOU
Always leave a comment or message to show how you can be reached, I would personally advise that you add your email address or your website on your bio for easy reach. This helps to show how authentic you are. You may never know, top brands may also want to reach you and trust me, those ones would not use a dm. 

🌸 MAKE YOUR FEED ATTRACTIVE
This is one area that cannot be overemphasized. 
A dry instagram feed is just quite boring and distasteful, people love color, style and finesse. You should pick a theme that works for you and utilize it to your advantage. Dark hues, pastel colors, bright colors, you can decide on what you so desire. Refer to @www.Instagram.com/jisolabrandboss & just see a sample of what I am talking about, that is just a style, some people have other systematic ways or use the grid type which requires you to plan your posts ahead of time etc or schedule to fit it in. 

🌸POST CONSISTENTLY
With the way the algorithm works now, you must not leave your account to run fallow, it must have some sort of engagement. A regular feed should have at the minimum, 3 posts per day. Once you do that, your profile visits is assured to an extent. Secondly, not all your followers see your post, only about 20% see them, so make sure you are able to create an enabling environment for that 20%.. post constructively. 

🌸 BE SOCIAL & NETWORK WITH OTHER INSTAGRAMMERS
You cannot be in a social media forum and say you are conservative, guess what? Social media is filled with drama and entertainment, that’s what we paid for, that’s what we want to see. Stop being too regular, be yourself, be friendly, collaborate, show a bit of yourself, let’s know about you, take pictures of yourself and your product, let’s see the face behind the brand. You can also add some videos to add little fun to what you post 😍

🌸USE HASHTAGS 
Hashtags are the fuel to rekindle your fire and light it up straight to the explore page. Once you can get the right hashtags relative to your post and much more, it propels that post and gets you profile visits and then follows, your page starts to grow slowly and then fast and boom! You are there! 

🌸DO GIVEAWAYS 
One of the best ways to connect with your audience is to do giveaways and competitions or whatever you would love to call it. Ensure you do this often as it propels people to where you are, they want to see your page, they will check your feed, a lot would stay because they know you would do another giveaway

🌸MAKE USE OF UR STORIES AND DM
I stumbled into this and it has worked for me pretty well, use relative hashtags to push each post, ensure you post videos or images that people need to see, ur views would increase, I assure you. 

🌸BOOST UR POSTS
A lot of vendors complain about not being able to boost their posts but this is actually one of the fastest ways to grow ur page apart from the ones I just listed. You just must keep some money 💰 for adverts and all, it pushes you farther than you can ever imagine 

🌸JOIN AN ENGAGEMENT GROUP
There is largely a like and comment drop because 80% of your followers do not even see ur post. So, what can help you push further is to join an engagement group that can help your page grow but this is not your let bus stop as it can also become really addictive, while at it, keep investing in ur self and ur brand, give it ur best shot @ all times.

WHAT ARE YOU SELLING?

Copied: So I slept in an Islamic hotel last night... This table in my room has an inscription that looked like AL Qaeda and sincerely, I was terrified ☺. I Googled the word immediately and discovered that the inscription is actually a sign that shows the direction Muslim guests should face when it's prayer time. The toilet and bathroom had Islamic design and the receptionist wore Islamic fashion. I was served Ram 🐏 sausages during breakfast and they maintain a list of rules for guests.  While paying some money to the manager last night, I asked him why their hotel bore such obvious Islamic signature and this was his reply "Mr. Charles, our vision here is to use this hotel as a platform to expose people to our peaceful religion. Maybe before you leave here, you might change your perception about Islam" He said with calm smiles. I paid him and ran up stairs to rest. I had had a very hectic day. This morning, I checked out of the hotel and the manager wasn't around.
